Dear Laura and Trevor I just wanted to let you know of the events that have taken place over the last 12 months or so that my torch and photonic therapy has helped with, and let you know how things are progressing.... Well I figured this might have some kind of effect on 2-leggeds if it was that good on horses! As you know I had suffered with a Frozen Shoulder,an affliction which is clinically known as Adhesive Capsulitis. Being an insulin dependant diabetic, my if that GP was loathe to administer the usual cortisone injection (thank heavens) but for many months I was in considerable pain (read: AGONY that would make me cry!) and had only approximately 20% movement if that. Even a Specialist I was referred to in this field indicated that the normal progression of my condition would entail a 2 year cycle of waiting, that there was nothing I could do to change that, irrespective of the exercises I performed. TWO YEARS??? HAH! ONE single solitary treatment from Brian at the refresher course several months ago and I had regained in the space of HALF AN HOUR another maybe 40% movement... I couldn't wait to get back to my GP to show him, and he was dutifully amazed... These days I am 99.9% back to normal, so much so that when you asked me how I was tonight I had completely forgotten about it. No small feat considering that 12 months ago I was in so much pain I could not sleep, and could barely drive a car. Brian's treatment started me on the self treatment programme which to be quite honest with you I didnât really do much, just the occasional treatment when I remembered. Imagine if I had been more proactive! LOL The biggest difference the torch has made is to my diabetes. I have had Insulin Dependant Diabetes Mellitus for 12 years and have been working hard all of that time to gain a good level of control. I am hopeless with diets, my physical activity being my saving grace, but it has only been in the past 6 months since I have been using the torch that my control over my levels has been exemplary. I have a blood test every 3 months which gives an average "reading", with the aim to be around 6 - 7. In all the years that I have had this affliction I have never been better than 7.5, figured that this was as good as it gets, which really isn't that bad, but my last result was 6.9!!!!!!!!!! UNDER 7!!!!!!!!!!!!! My GP even described my results then as having such good control that if he didn't know any better my overall test results would not have indicated to him that I was a diabetic!!!!! All of this has been since I have been using my torch..... Yes I have been testing my BSLs regularly, and eating sensibly, but everything combines to make a good result..... Amazing! I now no longer fear the terrible conditions that affect long term diabetics and don't worry about stuff like amputations and horrible diseases affecting me in my later years, which are normally part and parcel of this affliction. So in a nutshell, IM CONVINCED! Didn't take long did it!!!! I have finally got the point about not putting my torch away in the cupboard... And it is now in regular use around this house for itchy dogs, cats with asthma, me with asthma, brilliant when I have a cold, or sinus trouble...I am so glad I made that trip up to Toowoomba that day in all the mud and rain and invested in my kit... Talk about money well spent... Brilliant. Thankyou so much, and not just for the kit, but for your continued support and advice and being on the end of the phone when I need help with something....This really is life changing stuff..... Kind regards, and many many thanks Allyson Corti
When we purchased our Equine Kit , we also received a manual with human Acupuncture Points. As I have suffered for years with infected sinuses I decided to treat myself as per the instructions, and not had one day of sinus problems since. Sandra Marshall Toowoomba
