Exercise Physiologist
Susan has substantial academic and experiential depth in both horse and human physical rehabilitation. She has a degree in Physical Education (Human Movement and Exercise Science), and a Masters degree in Education.
Between 1986 and 2002 she operated her own business in Physical Rehabilitation. Alongside this she lectured at the University of Western Australia, and was a research assistant in world leading research into the Effect of Strength Training on Osteoporosis.
Sue also has training in Bowen, Reiki, Trigger Point Therapy and PNF Stretching.
On the horse front she has ridden competitively for 15 years in Dressage, Eventing and Show jumping. She attained level 3 in the Parelli Natural Horsemanship Program, and is an accredited level 1 coach in the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS).
Sue has been coaching riders for the past 8 years on her Riding School in Wandi.
She has a strong commitment to horse health in performance. Her philosophy is always to look for discomfort in the horse physically and emotionally before “blaming” the horse for bad behavior.
Sue runs demonstrations and workshops in Photonic Therapy for both the professional and home user.
