We first heard about Cool, Calm & Collected from my grandchildrens' instructor and thought it may help our 12.1.hh show pony (Harrington Park Pink Glitter, who is 4 years old and fairly green, and ridden by a 9 year old) to help keep her cool, and not wind herself up so much. She was on it for 3 days and we took her to Sydney for a youth weekend (450 k's from home). She settled in quite quickly to the indoor arena, the first time she had been in one, and had 2 lessons on the Saturday plus some riding outside. Sunday was competition day and Eliza was 3rd in her rider class, riding Harrington Park Pink Glitter, 3rd in the Childs Show Pony and 1st in the First Ridden Show Pony, winning a garland and a rug, and qualifying for the 2017 Grand Nationals in Sydney. She had a break over winter then we took her to a Show last weekend, where she ended up Reserve Champion Show Pony under 12.2. She still has a few issues with large open areas, gets a bit overwhelmed and lacks concentration, but is improving. Hopefully we will get to do a run of shows in the next few weeks with her, which should see her confidence build.
I have put our 14hh show pony on Cool, Calm & Collected for a totally different reason. She gets real snarly when she's in season and I can definitely see an attitude change since she's been on it. Also have a 13.2 show pony gelding on Cool, Calm & Collected yet again for another reason. He had an operation on his annular ligaments last May, and I read, I think it may have been on your site where a chestnut mare that had feet issues came good after being on the Cool, Calm & Collected supplement. Although he doesn't have feet issues, I thought being in the lower region of his front legs it may help! First show back after 16 weeks off he was Supreme Champion Pony. I have recommended your product to several people and they are quite happy with the results. Jan Lyons |
